Bin Sifter does the tedious, error-prone part of buying records online — matching editions and adding up real costs across many stores — and leaves the one part that matters to you: clicking Buy.
Find the exact record
Search by artist and title and Bin Sifter pulls the matching releases from Discogs. Choose the precise pressing you want — the 180g reissue, the 45rpm audiophile box, a colored variant — or tell it "any acceptable new edition" and let it widen the net.
This step only identifies the record and its pressings. No prices are fetched yet, so it's fast.
Fetch live prices — from your own PC
When you ask for prices, your computer checks around twenty real online record stores for that exact pressing. Because the fetching runs locally rather than from a data center, stores see an ordinary visitor and don't block it.
Each listing is tied back to a Discogs pressing through an evidence ladder: a barcode match is trusted most, then matching attributes, and anything weaker is flagged as unverified so you're never quietly shown the wrong edition.

- Barcode (UPC) — an exact match to the pressing
- Attributes — label, catalog number, format and year line up
- Unverified — shown, but clearly marked as a weaker match
New copies only — used, preowned and damaged listings are filtered out before you ever see them.
Compare true landed cost
A sticker price isn't what you pay. Bin Sifter adds each store's real shipping — flat rates and free-shipping thresholds — and computes Washington sales tax from that store's own policy, including whether tax applies to shipping. Offers are then ranked by the total you'll actually be charged.

For a whole want list, Bin Sifter compares complete order plans and shows the best ways to split it: cheapest overall, fewest checkouts, or best returns. Pick a plan and it opens each store's cart pre-filled.
You always complete the purchase. Bin Sifter can fill a cart, but a human clicks Buy — it can never spend your money.
